It’s summer, the season of road trips. Road trips come in all colors and shapes; some can be blissful and educational, others can be awful but they all make great stories.
Two speakers presented speeches on the theme. In his speech titled : My road trip to ER”, Ahmad related all the ways you could party, get COVID, miss out on a much anticipated trip to LA and land yourself in ER on a false heart attack alarm. Elliott took us on a tour of Torrey Pines State Park where we about the ec learned about birds and bees and Torrey pine trees.

Katie led table topics. Road trip memories: disappearing drivers, a ticket that turned into tea at a cop’s house and the strange happenings that can occur during a long solo road trip from New Jersey to Indiana.
