“Hey Mister” was the title of Seva’s passionate plea for each of us to give a few dollars to homeless folks that we pass in the streets.
And in the meeting’s final speech, Steve made a nod to first day of summer with his poetic, bucolic, and celebratory “Toast to Summer.” It was a rarity at Seattle Sunrise — an actual Toastmasters’ Toast!
Dave provided a full evaluation of the meeting and the evaluators, while Vibhu took the role of Grammarian and Paula kept time.
Scott walked away with his 655th “Best Evaluator” Award and promised to donate all future ribbons (of which there will many more!) to charity.
