Seattle Sunrise Toastmasters is looking for their permanent meeting venue, and this day, we met at North Seattle Church at 8 am, with donuts and coffee. Ana was Toastmaster of the Day, her first time facilitating the entire meeting. The meeting with three speakers. Doug, Bill, and Dave provided expert speeches. Doug spoke on renewal energy with and the impact to our lives. Our second speaker, Bill gave a special presentation, intended for his clinic board committee, and he also fielded questions in the Q&A section. Our last and seasoned speaker, Dave gave a heartwarming speech on Man’s Best Friend, his dog, bringing a visual aid and weaving the stories into his speech. Magical and nerve-racking, but always fun, our Table Topics was led by Lara. Thank you to our SAA and our member Traci, for helping us explore this venue. Next week’s venue is confirmed to be at Dale Turner YMCA Shoreline.
